  • Party in the Park

  • Fireworks

The UA Centennial committee is planning lots of events, including an Open House at the high school on Sunday afternoon 1-4 pm.  The building is scheduled for demolition in the near future; a new high school will be built where the football field and stadium currently stand.  In addition, all elementary schools will either be rebuilt or remodeled over the next few years.  This may be your last chance to see the school(s) you attended as you remember them.

You can look for updates on their website, www.uaschools.org/facilities. They are holding a round of community meetings next Tuesday and Wednesday and gathering community feedback, so you can look for updates soon!

Notable for the open house this year is that the Educator Hall of Fame is expanding to include educators district-wide, pre-K through 12. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held during the open house.

Come back for one last walk down memory lane!
